Where does the team skate?
The team's home rinks are a combination of (games and practices) Trinity College (Hartford), Newington Arena, and Veteran’s Rink (West Hartford). We do our best to try and have each team practice and play in all locations throughout the season.
Do you play only girls teams? Who do you play against?
Our teams play against boys and girls teams throughout the regular season. Our limited travel team competes in a co-ed house league, with limited travel games against boys and girls teams in the area.
What conferences are you in?
Our teams compete primarily in the Connecticut Hockey Conference and Connecticut Girls Hockey League.
Are you part of West Hartford, Central, or an independent organization?
The Capital Wolves run through both the West Hartford and Central Youth Hockey Associations. The organization was founded to take advantage of the numbers of girl players in both organizations, with the goal of developing area skaters on teams with like-skilled players, offering developmental and competitive travel teams. We have members on both boards, and both organizations provide leadership and administrative support for the Capital Wolves, including scheduling, finances, rostering, etc.
